He was born in 1966 in Of. After completing his BSc in Physics at Karadeniz Technical University, he worked as a teacher in Trabzon-Yomra High School and Trabzon-Of Şehit Ahmet Türkkan High School. In 1994, he was appointed as a Research Assistant at Sakarya University and moved from teaching to academician. He completed his master's degree in 1986 at Sakarya University and his doctorate in 2003 at Middle East Technical University. In 2006, he was appointed as Assistant Professor at Sakarya University. In 2014, he was appointed as Associate Professor in the Physics Department of Sakarya University. He is currently the Head of the General Physics Chair of Sakarya University Faculty of Arts and Sciences Department of Physics. Ali ÇORUH continues to serve as Assoc. Prof. Dr..
He is married and has one child.
